Description of Service

Provides routine childhood and adolescent vaccines to protect against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, haemophilus influenza type b, pneumococcal diseases, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and meningococcal meningitis. Also provides routine adult vaccines to protect against tetanus, diphtheria, measles, mumps, and rubella. Adults with certain health conditions/risks may be eligible for pneumococcal vaccine and hepatitis B vaccine.

Flu vaccine for 6 months and older is available. Tdap and pneumococcal vaccine also available to eligible clients. Note that services provided until capacity is reached, which could be sooner than posted end time.

Walk in, under 18 years old have to be accompanied by an adult. No appointment is needed.

Intake Requirements

Bring California Immunization Record (Yellow Card) to immunization clinic.

Eligibility

The low cost fee of $10 is for people that do not have insurance or their insurance does not cover Immunizations. Flu vaccine is available for persons 3 years of age and older. Currently, this Public Health Center does not have pediatric flu vaccine (for children 6 months to less than three years of age) available. The nasal spray vaccine (FluMist) is available for healthy persons 2-49 years old. Tdap vaccine is available if medically necessary. Pediatric flu vaccine is expected to be available in the near future. Please contact the Public Health Center in advance if you are in need of this vaccine.
