Description of Service

Provides integrated residential group home services for boys and young men aged 12-22 years old in one of our eight, six bed group homes throughout North County San Diego. Youth and their families benefit from New Haven’s dynamic intervention that is grounded in the practice of positive youth development.

Intake Procedure


Intake Requirements

Some of the residential placements are private pay and self referred, most youth are referred by school districts, Departments of Social Services, or Departments of Probation. Include proof of need for residential services as documented by Court order, a referral from a County Office of Probation or Department of Social Services, a current individualized Education Plan, an assessment for needs and services that will conduct, and a physical examination. Candidates must be male between the ages of 12-21. Candidates must have a documented history of behavioral difficulties stemming from emotional difficulties or trauma, mental health problems, or substance abuse history.
