Description of Service
The San Diego Day Center for Homeless Adults (Neil Good Day Center) serves homeless and at risk of homeless adults in the City of San Diego. Participants are welcomed and supported to this low-barrier program through diverse on-site services that bring together homeless service providers and Day Center services which creates a setting where needs can be met efficiently and effectively. The main focus of the Day Center is to motivate clients into the Coordinated Assessment and Housing Placement system while offering basic human dignity services such as showers, mail services and laundry. The Program utilizes a harm reduction model which does not require sobriety, however, neither alcohol or drugs can be used or possessed onsite.
