In partnership with Mental Health Systems, 211 San Diego operates the Courage to Call hotline– a free, confidential, helpline staffed by veterans and family members that provides 24/7 peer advocacy to active-duty military personnel, veterans, reservists, guard members, and their families.

Our partnership with the First 5 San Dego Commission helps parents and families with children under 6 years old access programs and resources that ensure their child has the healthy development they need to be successful in school and in life.

211 San Diego is proud to support the County's Live Well San Diego's vision for healthy, safe and thriving communities by connecting individuals to food, housing, employment, health care, counseling and other vital resources.

211 San Diego partners with the County of San Diego Housing and Community Development to provide information, resources, advocacy and housing navigation for the HIV/AIDS community, which often faces additional barriers to housing due to stigma and discrimination.

211 San Diego works with the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services to provide official public information about road closures, evacuation routes, food assistance and more during an emergency. This partnership helps with rumor control, reserving 911 for emergency situations.

211 San Diego answers the Housing First hotline, in partnership with the San Diego Housing Commission, to connect callers to available housing resources.

With support from USDA, 211 San Diego integrates CalFresh into MY211, a mobile application that gives users automatic updates as they progress in the application process. The app puts the power of connection directly at the fingertips of people seeking services.
