DESCRIPTION:Be a part of making the holidays special for a festive day of fun for children and families impacted by the January floods! \nSupport San Diego flood relief and recovery by volunteering at a Christmas toy giveaway with music\, activities for kids\, and fun for flood survivors. Volunteers will be distributing toys\, clothing\, and other goods to families. \nSIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER* (logistics will be provided after sign-up) \n*May require new registration with a one-time $25 fee to register at HandsOn San Diego; you may apply to waive the fee.  \nOpportunity Requirements & Important Notes\nAttire: Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Volunteers are encouraged to dress festively (red or green shirts/sweaters & aprons). Ugly holiday theme sweaters are welcome! This opportunity takes place both indoors and outdoors. \nBring: Water bottle and snack\, if needed. \nPhysical Requirements: There are no physical requirements. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations.
