DESCRIPTION:This monthly event provides FREE services and resources to everyone.  There is health screening for blood pressure\, blood sugar\, diabetes\, cholesterol\, HIV\, and Hep C.  Medical education and medical consultation by medical providers.  Free breast exams and mammogram sign-ups are available. Free vaccines (Flu and COVID-19)\, and low-cost pet services are offered by the San Diego Humane Society.  FREE fresh produce and food distribution along with opportunity drawings and prizes given to participants.

Visit the Pantry of HOPE \nOperation HOPE—North County’s Pantry of HOPE is here to support individuals and families in our community who are experiencing food insecurity or need access to basic essentials. \nThe pantry is open to the public and provides: \n\n\nFresh produce and non-perishable food items \n\n\nClothing for all ages \n\n\nDiapers\, wipes\, and baby supplies \n\n\nFeminine hygiene products and other household essentials \n\n\nWe serve an average of 60 to 150 families each week\, including shelter alumni and community members referred by local organizations. Our goal is to ensure that families have reliable access to nutritious food and vital resources in times of need. \nFirst-time attendees only need to fill out an application—no ID necessary. \nNo appointment is necessary\, but families are encouraged to arrive early during distribution times as supplies are available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nIf you or someone you know is in need\, we invite you to visit the Pantry of HOPE. Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks while connecting with fellow advocates for change. \n​​This event will commence with a community bike ride led by Bike SD starting at Trolley Barn Park\, to Bird Park and down the Pershing Drive Bike Way\, taking 6th Avenue up to the Park. Leave your bike at the Bike Valet provided by BikeSD. \n​Cycling is highly encouraged but not required to attend.
