DESCRIPTION:Parkinson’s Association of San Diego Hosts Annual Step by Step 5K Walk and Health Fair on April 5 \nCreating a Path of Support and Resources for the Parkinson’s Community to Help Live Their Best Life \nSAN DIEGO\, CALIF. – The Parkinson’s Association of San Diego (PASD) invites the public to the 23rd Annual Step by Step 5K Walk and Health Fair on Saturday\, April 5th at Liberty Station (2640 Cushing Road\, San Diego\, CA 92016). Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. with the event kicking off at 9:00 a.m.\, and ending at 11:30 a.m. PDT. www.parkinsonsassociation.org \nJoining the Step by Step 5K Walk and Health Fair is a first step toward support and resources to help those affected by Parkinson’s live their best life. This year’s event unites more than 1\,200 participants\, offering connections\, care and access to 70 health exhibitors. and free coffee and donuts. Dogs are also welcome to join the fun and will receive a special bandana for the walk. \nEvery dollar raised for the Walk stays in San Diego County\, directly supporting PASD’s mission to provide essential resources\, education and support to thousands of local residents impacted by Parkinson’s disease—ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need. \nSharp HealthCare is reinforcing its commitment to the Parkinson’s community and ensuring the event’s success as the title sponsor for the 2025 Walk. \nParticipants can support the Walk in multiple ways\, including: \n\nWalking individually or with family\nJoining or forming a team\nExploring exhibitor booths without walking\nMaking a donation to PASD\, with the option to contribute in memory or in honor of a loved one\n\nSign up for the walk or donate to make a difference at www.parkinsonsassociation.org or by calling 858-215-2570. \nThe registration donation is $50 per participant\, $10 for youth ages 12-17\, and free for children under 12.
