The Elderly Simplified Application Project (ESAP)

The Elderly Simplified Application Project (ESAP) makes it easier for older adults to secure and stay enrolled with CalFresh. The new application requires less verification information, waives the renewal interview requirement, and extends the benefit period. We can help older adults in the San Diego region apply over the phone. Schedule an appointment above or call 2-1-1 to get started!

Renew Your Benefits

Most CalFresh recipients are required to complete a Semi-Annual Report (SAR 7) once a year in order to keep getting CalFresh benefits. The form helps the County adjust your benefits based on any changes to your situation in the last six months. We can help you complete your SAR 7 form over the phone and submit it on your behalf. We’ll also let you know what verification documents you will need to submit to the County and how to do so.
