SUMMARY:Make-A-Wish Polar Plunge
DESCRIPTION:Plunge into the new year and make waves for wishes! Join us for Make-A-Wish San Diego’s inaugural Polar Plunge on Saturday\, January 10th at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in Mission Bay. The funds raised through this event will directly support wish granting in our community. As you reach various fundraising milestones\, you will take home exciting prizes such as a beach towel\, water tumbler\, plush robe\, and more! \nThis is a family-friendly event. Children ages 6 and up are eligible to participate. Children under 18 must be registered by a parent/guardian and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also registered and participating in the plunge. Children ages 6-16 will be registered as a Youth Polar Bear. All participants will receive a t-shirt on the day of the event. \nEvent Schedule \n9:00 a.m. – Check-in begins | Participants will have a chance to explore sponsor and vendor booths\, enjoy lite breakfast bites and warm drinks\, take photos\, stretch with a yoga warm up\, and play games.\n10:00 a.m. – Program begins | Learn about the Make-A-Wish mission and your impact.\n10:30 a.m. – Time to Plunge! | Plunge will take place in waves to ensure a safe experience for all.\n12:00 p.m. – Event concludes. \nSign up today as an individual or create a team at polarplungesd.org!
