Join SANDAG in celebrating California Clean Air Day on Wednesday, October 2! The Coalition for Clean Air hosts this statewide event on the first Wednesday of every October to encourage new habits that improve air quality.

We invite the San Diego region to take the pledge and commute for clean air by walking, biking, carpooling, or riding transit. Enjoy day-of promotions including free transit thanks to Free Ride Day, courtesy of MTS and NCTD.

How to Participate and Help Clean the Air:

1. Take the Pledge: Visit //SANDAG.org/cleanairday and commit to a cleaner commute on Wednesday, October 2. Choose Your Mode: Walk, bike, carpool, or ride transit (free on Wednesday, October 2 thanks to MTS and NCTD) to reduce your carbon footprint.
3. Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join you in making a positive impact!
