What is CalAIM?
California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) is a long-term commitment to transform and strengthen Medi-Cal, offering Californians a more equitable, coordinated, and person-centered approach to maximizing their health and life trajectory.
What New Direct Services Are Available Through CalAIM?
Enhanced Care Management
A care coordination benefit for Medi-Cal members with the most complex health and social needs. A dedicated care team helps coordinate physical health, behavioral health, and social service needs in one place, wherever the member is most comfortable.
Community Supports
Optional services Medi-Cal managed care plans can offer in place of costlier care, such as housing navigation and deposit assistance, medically tailored meals, and recuperative care. Availability varies by health plan.
