Health and Immigration Policy Implications Webinar (for Community-Based Workforces)

March 26 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

New immigration policies, as well as potential cuts to Medicaid, deeply affect community-based workforces (CBWs) and the communities they serve. These rapidly-changing policies can be confusing, leaving many unsure how to best navigate these significant threats to health and well-being. The Health Equity Community Collaborative’s Community-Based Workforce Alliance invites you to join us in our upcoming webinar, where we’ll take a deep dive into the latest updates on immigration policy and Medicaid and examine how these recent and potential changes impact this crucial workforce, sharing insights and guidance from national and local perspectives.

During this conversation on Wednesday, March 26, at 3:30pm ET | 12:30pm PT, speakers will:

  • Provide an overview on recent immigration policy changes and proposed Medicaid cuts;
  • Discuss the current and potential impacts on community-based workforces with experts in the field; and
  • Brainstorm critical actions and strategies people can take to best support communities  and CBWs amidst changing policies.

We will also have time to answer your top questions, so we encourage you to submit your questions in advance using the box on the registration form.
