Trolley Dances

In partnership with SanDiego Metropolitan Transit System, SDDT has presented Trolley Dances™ for over25 years. Trolley Dances™ was created by former Artistic Director Jean Isaacsto make dance accessible to our entire community by taking art “to the people.”Each fall, tour guides lead groups of audience members on and off the trolleyto view original pieces of site-specific choreography. More than 50 communityand company dancers perform at various sites.

This year’s Trolley Dances™ will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28th &29th on the Green Line trolley. Tours will begin at Old Town with stops atGaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village.

This year’s choreographers include Monica Bill Barnes, bkSoul withTranscenDANCE Youth Arts Project, ConnectArte, Miroslava Wilson, and Jean Isaacs

$40 General Admission

$25 Discounted rate for seniors, working artists, students, and military.
