Enrollment Services
CalFresh
CalFresh is a program funded by the USDA to help improve the health and nutrition of low-income families. CalFresh can stretch food dollars, allowing you to buy more fruit, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and other healthy food. We can help you apply and submit your application over the phone. If you already have CalFresh, we can help you complete your Semi-Annual Report (SAR7) to ensure you continue to receive benefits.
CalFresh and Medi-Cal
If you are eligible for CalFresh, you are also likely eligible for Medi-Cal, a public health insurance program. We can help you enroll for CalFresh and Medi-Cal at the same time.
Unfortunately, we cannot complete Medi-Cal ONLY applications, but you can visit the San Diego County website to learn more and apply.

County Medical Services funds medical care for uninsured, low-income adults in San Diego County. CMS uses a network of Community Health Centers, private physicians, and local hospitals to provide necessary medical services as a last resort for eligible adults. We can provide you with information on services available and the network of providers.

General Relief
General Relief provides temporary cash assistance to eligible County residents who do not have another means of support. Any assistance received must be repaid. We can provide you with information on cash assistance programs, eligibility, and how to apply.

Rental and Housing Assistance
- The Landlord Incentive Program (LIP): Provides financial incentives to landlords who rent to homeless individuals, families, and veterans.
- Section 8 Waitlist: Helps low-income families and individuals with the cost of their rent.
- Rent Payment Assistance: Helps low-income people pay their rent so they can live in a safe, healthy place.
