FAFSA & CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) Support Sessions
The cost of college can feel intimidating, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Many families are surprised to discover just how much financial aid is available once they understand where to look and how to apply.
That is why PIQE and the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) are teaming up to offer free webinars designed to help you and your student complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) with confidence.
In these sessions, you will learn:
- What the FAFSA and CADAA are, and why completing them matters
- Key dates, including the October 1 application opening and the March 2 priority deadline
- What information and documents to prepare (student details, parent income/tax info, and school lists for UC, CSU, or Community College)
- What happens after you submit, from receiving award letters to comparing aid offers
- Tips for success, like applying early, checking school codes, and keeping copies of your application
