Love SD Cleanup – Belmont Park

After a long holiday weekend filled with beach days, barbecues, and summer fun, our local shorelines often pay the price. That’s why we’re heading to Belmont Park the day after Labor Day to clean up the mess! 

Join I Love A Clean San Diego for the LoveSD Cleanup. We’re rallying volunteers to help remove litter from one of our city’s most popular beachside destinations. It’s a chance to give back to our community, meet like-minded people, and leave the coastline better than we found it. 

We will have music, snacks, booths, and more! 

What to Expect:
We’ll provide all the cleanup supplies you need, including gloves, bags, and high-visibility vests. After a brief orientation and safety talk, you’ll head out to collect litter in the surrounding area. Our staff will handle sorting and disposal, and you’ll be able to request community service hours through your Community Hub dashboard. 

What to Bring: 

• Comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes 

• A hat or sunscreen for sun protection 

• A reusable water bottle (or two) to stay hydrated
