What is VOICE? VOICE is a community scientist program that connects community members and researchers to build skills to shape research that addresses SD community priorities. Through the training, participants will:

• Gain the knowledge and tools necessary to engage meaningfully as Community Scientists
• Build relationships with researchers by identifying relevant issues and sharing valuable insights
• Collaborate as partners throughout the entire research process

This training on May 21st will focus on providing participants an introduction to what clinical trials are, how they work, and why they matter in advancing healthcare.
