People in need of resources, information and support can talk to a live person, a trained 2-1-1 Community Connector anytime 24/7, 365 days a year or access the online database of resources. In addition to connecting people to services and community organizations to each other to help people efficiently access services, 2-1-1 San Diego’s mission is to provide data and trend information for proactive community planning. This data dashboard is the first of many steps towards making 2-1-1’s robust data readily accessible to the community.

The 2-1-1 San Diego Informatics Team is devoted to bringing new visualizations, data, and insights to our community. In addition to client demographics, needs, and referral data, 2-1-1 San Diego provides insights into population health, accessibility, equity and other valuable social indicators of health. 2-1-1 San Diego sits at the crossroads of supply and demand for vital services impacting wellness. 2-1-1 San Diego data includes valuable information about client needs and available community resources. The Resource Database contains over 6,000 services across multiple service sectors. 2-1-1 San Diego data can be used to identify community needs, trends, asset mapping and service gaps. This information is critical to community planning and supports our community’s service delivery system.
